WWII Vases 4/2022
These vases were turned from walnut wood that was cut, had its ends dipped in creosote to slow drying, and stored to use to create fore stocks on rifles during WWII.
Not all the wood blocks were used during the war efforts and a stash was stored in an old barn. The stash was passed on to a friend, and then to me.
