Time for nesting bundles! 4/2022

Spring has arrived along with all our feathered little friends looking to raise a few broods.

In the past I’ve often been asked if I ever seen the birds taking the fur. I’ve always jad to respond by saying, “although I have never seen them actually take it, my nesting vundles all look like Einstein with hair coming our all over the place.” Until now!

While in my bedroom looking out the window, I notices a tufted titmouse tugging and pulling and filling its beak with brown fur. It looked like the comedian Gene Shalit before flying away. No time to get my camera.

Since it was so determined, I decided to hand more bundles. I was curious if it would prefer white fur over brown, or a mix. So I hung two more nesting bundles. And then we waited….

It did not take long for the show to begin, this times with camera in hand.
