This piece was created out of love for the people of Ukraine. Turned, carved, burned and finished, from one piece of wood, this piece represents the flames and ashes from which, they must rise and rebuild. I believe in them and their sheer willingness to survive and succeed.
Although not painted gold, the camera captured the soul of the Ukrainian people.
