From Burl to Bowl….
This gorgeous piece started out as a chunk of burl with large voids. The voids were filled with heart nut tree shells and resin. After turning the heart nut shells created even more voids which, were then hand painted with bronze paint, filled with clear epoxy, and put back on the lathe. More turning…. more nut voids!!! lol. Painted and finished.
