Bluebird Houses – traditional with a twist 3/2020

Eastern Bluebirds are a skittish species of cavity nesters that are often bullied by tree-swallows and preyed on by cowbirds. Because the cowbirds will lay their eggs in the bluebird’s nest they prefer houses with a double entry (double the thickness of wood at the entrance) and no perches.
